Truman Charles Ellis passed from this life May 16, 2020 at the age of 76 surrounded by family. Memorial Service: 2:00 P.M. Saturday, May 30, 2020 at White’s Azle Chapel, 105 Denver Trail, Azle 76020. He was born August 29, 1943 in Fort Worth Texas to Charlie and Helen Ellis. He was united in marriage to Laura Russell on June 16, 1980. They would have celebrated their 40th year of marriage this June. Truman started his career by serving in the United States Air Force from 1961-1964 and continued his career in trailer equipment industry as Vice President of Caple-Shaw Industries of Fort Worth, Texas. He had diversified endeavors until he retired. Truman also served as City Councilman for the City of Aurora, Texas for 4 years. Those who know him knew he loved his family whole heartedly. He was passionate about the Dallas Cowboys, Golf, Tennis, Mark Twain, Roy Rogers, John Wayne and classic country music of which he sang anywhere and everywhere. Truman was welcomed in heaven by our Heavenly Father, his parents, Charlie and Helen Ellis, brothers, Danny Ellis and Kenneth Ellis his wife, Pat; sister, Geraldine Linton her husband, Bo; and sister-in-law, Linda Ellis. Those he left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Laura; brothers, Ronny (Elizabeth), Bobby and Rick (Becky); children, Lee Ann Ellis, Tracy DeMille (Rick), Michael Ellis (Krystene) and Alicia McDaniel; 11 grandchildren, Mark, Matthew, Ryan, Tiffany, Mason, Zachary, Meagan, Hayden, Emily, Jered and Miranda; 5 great grandchildren, Ava, AJ, Kaisley, Remmington, and Matthew Jr.; numerous nieces and nephews.
