Mary Chisolm Stockstill

Mary Chisolm Stockstill, 92, passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at 5:30 in the evening. The family may plan a service for a later date. Memorials: In lieu of flowers the family suggests that donations be made to: Alzheimer’s Association; American Cancer Society; March of Dimes; or St. Jude’s. Mary was born in Mingus, Texas to Grady and Bertha Chisolm on December 1, 1927. She was married to Tom Stockstill on October 4, 1947. Mary was an Assistant Director of Medical Records, retiring after 15 years. She volunteered for 15 years at Campbell Hospital in Weatherford. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Stockstill; daughter, Marilyn; brothers, W. C. Chisolm and Joe Chisolm; and her sister, Geneva Cruce. Survivors: Loving children, Craig Stockstill and wife, Kathy, of New Braunfels, and Mary Jo Medcalf of Weatherford; grandson, Chandon Gray of Tolar; granddaughter, Kristi Stockstill Gold and husband, Brian, of Harwood; great-grandchildren, Joseph Gold, Chet Gold, and Vivian Gold; brother, Buck Chisolm and wife, Roberta; sister, Margie Underwood and husband, Billy; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family and friends. The family would like to express their appreciation to the doctors and staff of Medical City of Weatherford for their care for Mary during her stay.
