Through her whole life, she was hard-working and dedicated to whatever task that was put before her. During her long life, she worked as night manager at Dairy Queen in Azle and many people currently in the their 60’s remember “Momma Gene” from when they were teenagers; she also worked for many years at Azle Manor Nursing Home, and kept the bed-babies and toddlers at Ash Creek Baptist Church during Sunday worship services. She was loved by the very young and those of advanced age, and those in between who came to know her. She was a devoted wife and mother who loved her family unconditionally; and she set a wonderful example through her dedication to our Lord. Her whole family grieves, but she will be held close in our hearts and memories.
