Elaine Scribner

Elaine Scribner, 74, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2021 with her family by her side. Graveside Service: 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at Ash Creek Cemetery. Elaine was born to Thomas and Ruby Luttrell July 31, 1946 in Turkey, Texas. She married the love of her life, Jimmy Scribner at age 15 and together they had two children. Elaine was cafeteria manager for Azle ISD for many years. She lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures, she enjoyed traveling everywhere from the mountains to the sea, spending time with her family, being a very active Mamaw to grandchildren and great-grandchildren, playing games with her friends, and reading. She made the world’s best potato salad! Elaine was preceded in death by her parents; and loving husband, Jimmy. Survivors: Daughter, Tammy Smart and husband, Charles; Son, Jody Scribner and wife, Lesley; grandchildren, Jessica Scribner, Jimmy Smart and wife, Mary, Amber Paschal and husband, Cody; great-grandchildren, Ronan, Liam and Sadie Smart and Clutch Paschal; sister, Lillie Hunt and husband, Kenneth; brothers, Everette Luttrell and wife, Donna and James Roberts; special friends, the Mason Family; step-grandson, Russell Smart and wife, Stephanie; step great-grandchildren, Summer, Randy, Russell, Alex and Addyson Smart. Elaine passed into the arms of Jesus to be with her sweetheart, Jimmy in Heaven. She will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched.
