Wilma Jo Alexander, 79, passed away Friday, November 13, 2009 in Weatherford. Services: 11:00 a.m. Monday at White's Chapel of Memories. Interment: Brock Cemetery. Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at White's Funeral Home. In leiu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Brock United Methodist Scholarship Fund. Wilma Alexander was born January 23, 1930 in Paduka to the late Harve and Bessie Johnson. She moved to Parker County when she was six years old. Mrs. Alexander was a graduate of Brock High School and graduated from business college. She lived in Brock for many years and worked for Brock School District and Fort Walters Base in Mineral Wells many years as well. Mrs. Alexander was a member of Brock United Methodist Church. She was a very dedicated wife, mom, grandmother and sister. Wilma married Tom Shrum in 1948 and later married W.R. Alexander in 1998. Survivors: husband, William Alexander; sons, Lonnie Shrum of Kountze, Johnny Shrum and wife, Teresa of Pasadena; daughter, Debra Jo Moore and husband, Bill of Lipan; brothers, Howard Johnson of Weatherford, James Johnson and wife, Anne of Oran; sister, Nina Howell of Weatherford; grandchildren, Greg Bandy, Jason Moore, Tiffany Shrum, Jeremy Shrum, Kristi Combs, Candie Ware, Kathrine Smith, Katrina Shrum and Melissa Crawford; 15 great-grandchildren; one niece and seven nephews; and many loving family and friends.
