Wilma Jean Kirkpatrick

Wilma Kirkpatrick, 97, passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2018.Graveside Service: 1 p.m. Saturday at Dodson Cemetery in Dodson, Texas.Memorials: In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Dodson Cemetery Fund, 15403 N. 1680 Road, Hollis, Oklahoma  73550.Wilma was born December 14, 1920 in Hollis, Oklahoma to the late James and Eula Luck. She was an accomplished carpenter and seamstress. Wilma was also a secretary for many institutions, including the Randall County Sheriff's Department where she became a Deputized Sheriff. She was the owner of numerous businesses, including a laundromat and pie shop. Wilma was a member of various Baptist churches over the years. She will be missed by all who knew her.Wilma was preceded in death by her first husband, Minno Wells; second husband, Jim Kirkpatrick; brother, Duard Luck; and sister, Dortha Richards.Survivors: sons, Jimmy Wells and wife, Sharon, of Godley, and Tom Wells and wife, Shirley, of Granbury; grandchildren, Quenton Wells and wife, April, Amy Whelchel, and Kara Wells; great-grandchildren, Mia Wells and Trixton Whelchel; and many other extended family members.Services are in care of White's Funeral Home, Weatherford.
