Virginia Ruth Bass (Roper) passed away Tuesday, December 14, 2021.
Graveside Service: 1:00 P.M. Monday, December 27, 2021 at Jaybird Cemetery.
Visitation: 10 to 12 (noon) Monday, December 27, 2021 prior to the service at White’s Azle Funeral Home.
Virginia Ruth Roper was born October 18, 1936 in Fort Worth, Texas to Walter and Blanche Ward. She met and married the love of her life in August of 1955. Virginia was a child of God and is now rejoicing at home with her Savior and her husband.
She was preceded In death by her parents; and husband, Billy Glenn Bass.
Survivors: Daughters, Glenda Bass, Brenda Harrist (Jimmy), and Debbie McIlroy (Jim); grandchildren, Betsy DeAnda, Tammie Herring (Cody), Jennifer Steele (Jeremy), Kacey Ulrich (Nick), Halston Harrist (Sarah), Jody McIlroy (Tammie), Cole McIlroy (Brittany); 15 great-grandchildren; and many other extended family members and friends.
