Trever Daniel Stroh February 5, 1971 – May 18, 2021 Trever passed away peacefully at the Stroh family ranch in Millsap, Texas. He spent his grade school years in Berthoud, Colorado and Thompson Valley High School in Loveland, Colorado. Trever is in the Athletic Hall of Fame for 1986/1987 Wrestling Team at Thompson Valley. Trever went on to become a renowned cutting horse trainer and judge for the NCHA. He was given the opportunity to train some great cutting horses, work with great trainers and he always had great help. His accomplishments include winning the Limited Open Futurity Championship on E-Ticket. His greatest achievement was being a devoted father to Presley. He moved to Texas and lived there for 20 years on the ranch in Millsap, where he lived with his companion dogs, Doc, Dodge, and horse, Opie. He had many friends that helped him, loved him, and enjoyed his sense of humor. He loved to talk to them on the phone and always had a good story. Trever is survived by his father, Dan Stroh (Debbie); mother, Carol Zimmer (Bruce); daughter, Presley; grandson, Coleman; brother, Faren Stroh (Kristin); nieces and nephews, Payton, Cale, and Keaton Stroh; also many aunts, uncles and cousins; as well as Kelly Good, the love of his life. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ray and Lorraine Stroh, and Bud and Jean Funk. In our hearts and memories, he will always be loved and cherished. There are no funeral arrangements being made at this time. In lieu of flowers a contribution can be made to a charity of your choice, or the Trever Stroh Memorial, that would be used to further his daughter’s education, in care of Stroh & CO, 247 E. 4th Street, Loveland, CO 80537.
