Tommy Gowers

Tommy Gowers was born in Fort Worth Texas on October 29, 1967. Tommy graduated from Lincoln Technical College as a diesel mechanic which was his career for his entire life. He was a wonderful husband and a terrific father. He was a very giving friend. He was a loving grandpa and Loplop to 7 grandchildren. Tommy joined the Salt Creek Fire Department in 2012. He was very dedicated to help in his community through the fire department. He gained an entire family when he joined. He is preceded in death by his father Leonard Gowers. He is survived by his wife April Gowers; daughter’s Tiffany Blyzes, Ashley Upchurch, Brittany Gowers and Emily Gowers; Son- in-laws, Arend Estes and Joseph Upchurch; Honorable mention Austin Cook; mother Christine Thornton; brothers Ronnie Gowers, Terry Gowers, Dusty Gowers; sister, Brenda Hall; sister-in-law Andi Gowers; and lots of wonderful nieces and nephews.
