Teresa Lorene Kendall

Teresa Lorene Kendall, 67, passed away on Monday, June 30, 2025 after a brief hospitalization.

Graveside Service: 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at East Greenwood Cemetery, 500 E. Front St., Weatherford.

Teresa was born October 4, 1957 to Lee and Evelyn Parker. She loved to send cards – Birthdays, Anniversaries, Christmas, Easter, Graduation, Valentines, Halloween, you name it. Once she got computing she would make her own to send out to all her family and friends. She sent out a lot of cards! 

Teresa was a fan of Ohio State Football (and Woody Hayes) and Shirley Temple. A bobble-head Woody Hayes on her desk kept her company while she watched her Shirley Temple videos wearing a Buckeye tee shirt. She also liked Mickey Mouse, so buying presents that she liked was easy – Mickey Mouse watches, Mickey Mouse earrings, Mickey Mouse figurines, really anything Mickey Mouse. Teresa love to give gifts. She’d ask for Birthday and Christmas Lists a couple of months ahead of time, and keep asking and asking. If she knew you had a favorite something, she’d make sure you got it. For years, she has kept Fred supplied with Food Saver bags, Don with pink shirts, and Clarissa with Chore Boys.

Teresa was a kind, generous soul. She enjoyed being with people and would do whatever she could to help make someone else’s life easier. Although Teresa was beset with a host of medical issues in the second half of her life, she maintained a positive attitude through every set back and kept her sweet, caring nature. She was happy to help and grateful for the help and support of others when she needed it.

Teresa leaves behind her husband, Fred and her sister and brother-in-law, Rebecca and Don, as well as many cousins and friends. She will always be in their hearts as they were in hers.
