Teresa Renee’ Jordan, lovingly known as Renee’, Nabins, and/or Short Stuff, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at the age of 48. Born in Winchester, Virginia, on February 15, 1978, she was the daughter of Walter Ronald Jordan and Beverly Ruth Hix, and the cherished older sister of Terrence Ronald Jordan. As the eldest of eight, she is also survived by her siblings, Aubrey Miranda, Kayla Nichole, Shannon Michelle, Sean Michael, Kodiak Hunter, and Miklen.
Renee’ proudly served her country and was a United States Air Force veteran. During her service, she earned the Air Force Training Ribbon, the Air Force Longevity Service Award, and the Air Force Good Conduct Medal, honors that reflected her dedication, discipline, and commitment to excellence.
Renee’ was a devoted lover of books and music, and a lifelong “cat girl,” sharing her life with her beloved companions, Frost and Whisper. But not just cats. Renee’ also loved horses and dogs and a myriad of other critters—any critter, that is, other than snakes. Snakes induced an epic Hollywoodesque panic.
She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her quiet strength, her wicked sense of humor, and the kindness she offered so freely.
Renee’ leaves behind a loving family of aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, her niece, and her beloved grandmother, Mimi, all of whom she held close to her heart.
Memorial services will take place on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. in White’s Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford, Texas, with a short visitation prior to the service.
A Graveside Service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy., Dallas.
Renee’ will be deeply missed by her family, her friends, and all who were blessed to know her.
