Susanne Cox, 71, passed away Friday, August 10, 2018. Service: 1 p.m. Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at White’s Funeral Home, 101 N. E. 4th Avenue, Mineral Wells, Texas 76067 Interment: Woodland Park Cemetery, 2600 Hwy. 281 South, Mineral Wells. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, August 13, 2018 at White’s Funeral Home, Mineral Wells. Susanne was born November 10, 1946 in Weatherford to J. O. and Frances Cox. Susanne will be remembered for her kind and fun loving spirit. She gifted everyone with precious (and funny) memories, as Susanne never met a stranger. She enjoyed fulfilling her role as resident ambassador at Lakewell Place where she insured that her peers felt welcomed. Susanne was a wonderful daughter, sister, cousin, and aunt to her extended family who shared a lifetime of laughs. Not one to sugar coat it, Susanne was sure to tell it like it is. May she always be remembered as a generous hugger and feisty friend who taught everyone she met kindness, patience, and humility. Susanne was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors: Sisters, Carolyn Smith (Allan), Phyllis Frank (Jim); many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.The family would like to send special thanks for the care and love provided by Jamie Viles and the staff and residents at Lakewell Place.
