Susan Kay Grant, 71, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Medical City in Ft. Worth. With her husband by her side and surrounded with family, she entered the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Visitation: 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 25, 2025, at White’s Funeral Home Chapel in Mineral Wells, 101 NE 4th Avenue. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m.
Susan was born on June 16, 1954, in Mineral Wells, Texas, daughter of the late Herschel West and Chevellla Wyatt West. She was outgoing, caring and had an immense love for animals. Known for her loyalty and devotion to her husband, children, grandchildren and ALL her family, Susan embraced a strong work ethic, a sense of humor, and a smile as bright as cotton in the fall.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Alan and Gary West; sweet sister-in-law, Sherry West; beloved niece, Angela; along with other family members that greeted her with outstretched arms upon entering the Kingdom.
Survivors include her husband of nearly 40 years, Jeffrey Allen Grant of Weatherford, Texas; children, Christopher and his wife Candra of Garner, Texas, Michael and his wife Velma of Garner, Texas; grandchildren, Christopher, Katherine, Peyton, Jaxson, Emery, and Luna; sister, Janet and her husband, Dave Wilber of Bozrah, Connecticut; brothers, Randy West, Roger West, Mark and his wife, Patricia West of Mineral Wells, Texas; sisters-in-law, Linda West of Possum Kingdom Lake, Texas, Martha West of Palo Pinto, Texas, and Dodie Peacock of Red Oak, Texas. She will be greatly missed by seven nieces, six nephews, a whole collection of cousins, many friends and extended family members.
