Simon Serrano, Jr., passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2023, in Weatherford. Funeral Service: 10 a.m., Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at White's Funeral Home Chapel in Springtown, Texas. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at White's Funeral Home Chapel in Springtown, Texas. Interment: DFW National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas. He was born in Lockhart, Texas on May 5, 1944 to Simon Serrano, Sr. and Delphina Cisneros Serrano. Simon married Irene Torres and they remained together for 58 wonderful years. He was a proud father of 5 boys and a Vietnam Veteran, serving in the U.S. Marine Corp. He was preceded in death by his father, Simon Serrano, Sr.; mother, Delphina Cisneros Serrano; son, Manuel Gary Serrano; and brother, Pete Serrano. Simon is survived by his wife of 58 years, Irene; sons, Simon Serrano, III and wife Kristy; Roger Serrano; Craig Serrano and wife, Jennifer Fritz; Patrick Serrano; brother, Joe Serrano; sister, Cleo Sanchez. There are several grandchildren and he was always happy spending time with them. He was a Great Husband, Father and Grandfather. He will dearly be missed.
