Sherrell Elaine Welch

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Sherrell Welch at the age of 75. Sherrell was born on April 29, 1950 and passed suddenly on May 2, 2025.

Visitation: 6 :00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday May 12, 2025 at White’s Funeral Home, Azle.

Service: 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at First Baptist Church of Azle.

Burial: Azleland Memorial Park

She loved reading, working outside in her yard and watching Austin Butler movies. Her greatest joy though was spending time with her family. Sherrell was a believer in Christ and looked forward to one day reuniting in heaven with her family that passed before her. She was loyal, generous and would help anyone that needed it. Despite being deaf since the age of 3 she took pride in her strength and independence. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Sherrell is survived by her son, Wes O’Donald and wife, Cresia; grandchildren, Cameron, Couper and wife, Kaelie, Zach, and Allison ( Boo ) O'Donald; and by great grandchildren, Matt and Jasper. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Marie Welch; brother, DeLynn Welch; and son, Quinton ( Wyn ) O'Donald.
