Sharron LaNell (Talley) Allred, 84, passed away July 18, 2023 at her home in Parker County. Visitation: 9-10am Monday July 24, 2023, By the Word Baptist Church, 200 W N Woody Rd, Azle, TX 76020. Funeral Service: 10am Monday July 24, 2023, By the Word Baptist Church, 200W N Woody Rd, Azle, TX 76020. Interment: Jaybird Cemetery In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made, in Sharron’s name, to By the Word Baptist Church. Sharron was born September 21, 1938 in Sunset, TX ; daughter of William and Marie (Finley) Talley. In her earlier years, Sharron enjoyed sewing and gardening. She was also a great cook and loved to cook for her family for special occasions. Regardless of any other interests that she had in life, her love for her family came first. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the light of her life. She was an active member of By the Word Baptist Church and she loved to spend time with her church family. She is preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Orville F. Allred; and grandson, Brett A. Bailey. Survivors include her children, Michelle DeAnne Van Meter (Doug), Richard Kendle Allred, Douglas Wade Allred (Carla), Jeffrey Scott Allred (Johnetta); 9 grandchildren ; 8 great-grandchildren; sisters, Wilda Cox, Sandra Daniels, Ruedean Dillahunty, and Staniece Warford; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family members and friends.
