"Shari" Grace Louise Richardson

“Shari” Grace Louise (Voisin) Richardson, 76, passed away at home on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 in Springtown, Texas.

Graveside Services: 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 17, 2025 at Cline Prairie Cemetery, Walker County,  in Arizona, Texas.

She was born February 2, 1949 in Monahans, Texas, to Douglas Lambert Voisin, Sr. and and his wife, Billie Jo.

“Shari” attended school in McAllen, Tx and after graduating became a cosmetologist. She eventually met and married Floyd Richardson and they were together many happy years.

She excelled in her vocation as a cosmetologist, becoming a District Manager for a chain of beauty salons. After years of traveling over much of the United States, she decided a career change was needed and realized she always wanted to be a nurse. After many hours of education, she became a Registered Nurse, worked at John Peter Smith Hospital in Neonatal Intensive Care, caring for little patients for many years. After her retirement, she enjoyed sewing and doing crafts of all kinds. She loved beautiful flowers and her favorite flower was roses.

“Shari” was preceded in death by her dad, Douglas Voisin, Sr. and her mother Billie Jo.

She is survived by her husband, Floyd; her son, Slater Wristen; her brother, Bill Voisin; and her sister Othea Rae Voisin.

She was loved and will be missed and remembered by all her relatives, co-workers and friends who knew her.
