Scott Alan Smith, 44, passed away Friday, March 10, 2023. Visitation: 6 -8 p.m. Sunday, March 19, 2023 with the Rosary at 6:30 p.m. at White’s Funeral Home, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford. Mass of Christian Burial: 11 a.m. Monday, March 20, 2023 at St. Stephen Catholic Church, 1802 Bethel Road, Weatherford. Interment: East Greenwood Cemetery, Weatherford. Scott was born January 13, 1979 in Mineral Wells, son of Randy Clark and Brenda Doris (Walker) Smith. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from Tarleton State University. Scott met the love of his life, Cynthia Enriquez and they were married on August 30, 2003, and they would go on to spend nearly 20 happy years together. He was a Certified Pharmacy Technician for many years, most recently he worked at Clearfork Pharmacy in Brock. Scott was a devoted Catholic and was very active at St. Stephen Catholic Church. He served as Eucharist Minister, was a member of the Knights of Columbus, sang in the choir, and even helped with the youth group. Scott loved the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding his motorcycle. He also enjoyed games, from tennis to pickleball, and he could often be found engaging in sports. Scott also had an inherent love for music, and loved to play guitar. Scott was known for his forgiving nature, his patience and his infectious smile. While he had many interests in life, his first love was his family. His grandchildren were the light of his life. Scott is preceded in death by his mother. Survivors include his wife, Cynthia Smith; children, Lucas Smith, Nicholas Lopez (Brittany), and Marcus Lopez; grandchildren, Roxin Lopez and Aubree Lopez; father, Randy Smith; sister, Wendy Smith (Rob Reed); brother, Sean Smith; and a host of other extended family members and friends. Scott impacted countless lives, and he will be missed by all who knew him.
