Scott Alan Brister

Scott Alan Brister,53, loving father, nephew, brother and friend passed away Saturday, January 7, 2023. He is now in the arms of our loving Heavenly Father. Celebration of Life will be Saturday, January 28, 2023 at 12 pm (Noon) at The Meeting Place at Ash Creek Baptist Church in Azle, located at 300 S Stewart St, Azle, TX 76020. Scott was born May 6, 1969 in Azle to Gary and Brenda Brister. A resident of Azle for over 50 years, he graduated from Azle High School in 1987. Scott worked with his dad,Gary, at Lennox Air Conditioning and then raised Limousin Cattle at the family farm, Five Points Limousin Farm. He loved his cattle and tending to all their needs. Scott enjoyed helping the younger generation appreciate and learn how to raise and show cattle. He was an avid sports fan, and enjoyed going to all the Azle High School games. He is preceded in death by his dad, Gary Brister in 2018, uncle, Neal Brister in 2020 and mom, Brenda Brister(Wrinkle) in 1999. Survivors: Son, Garryn Brister; Aunt, Loretta Brister; brother, Lyle Brister and wife, Debbie; sister, Cynthia Price; cousin, Natalie Earwood and husband, Wes; nephews, Justin and Jerred Price, Travis Brister and Chase and Chance Boyd; and niece, Paige Brister; and many caring friends. In lieu of flowers, you may donate to the Children or Youth Ministries at Ash Creek Baptist Church in Scott’s name.
