Santiago Ramon Valdez Sr. was called home Sunday, September 5, 2021. He was met by his mother, Maria De Jesus (Jessie) and father, Salome Valdez; grandparents, best friend, Richard Snell; dear friend, Peter Edla;, and uncle, Jose Montalvo. Service: 2:00 P.M. Monday, September 13, 2021 at White's Mineral Wells Funeral Home. Visitation: 5 to 7 P.M. Sunday, September 12, 2021 at White's Mineral Wells Funeral Home. Santiago was born on March 10, 1969, in Stephenville, Texas. He traveled a lot in his life, met a lot of people along the way and although he didn't notice, all of his small acts of kindness made an impact on those he met along the way. With that being said, he was a father figure to many. Santiago loved his family, and he especially loved his children. He was the dad joking and music was his medicine. Santiago was a hardworking father, dedicating 30+ years to the oil and gas industry. He went from drilling to fracking, to landing his dream job as a consultant. Regardless of his work accomplishments his true passions were dancing, camping, and fishing. He is survived by his five children, Victoria Lopez and husband, Ronald, Venessa, Elisa, Jessica, Santiago Ramon Valdez Jr.; and his best Friend, Adalia Gonzalez; and five brothers and five sisters. “Just know that these things will never change for us at all” "SUCH IS LIFE"
