Sandra "Sandy" Lee Myers

Sandra Lee “Sandy” (Morrell) Myers passed away Saturday, May 14, 2022 at her home in Aledo, with her loving husband by her side. Celebration of Life: 10 a.m. Friday, May 20, 2022 at Aledo Christian School, 400 Queen St., Aledo, TX. in lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Sandy's name to Grace House Ministries. Sandy was born March 10, 1941 in Kingfield, Maine, daughter of Milford and Geraldine (Corson) Morrell. She spent her childhood in Maine and several years in other parts of New England before moving to Texas in 1972. Sandy was a woman of strong Christian faith. She loved the Lord and spent a lot of time praying and leading others to a relationship with the Lord. Sandy enjoyed the beauty of God’s creation, and particularly loved bluebonnets. She worked for several years at WallBuilders, an organization dedicated to presenting America’s forgotten history and heroes. Sandy is preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Julian Fickett; brother, Sheridan; and sister, Eleanor. Survivors include her second husband, Jim Myers; son, John Fickett; daughter, Julie Isinghood; grandchildren, Lauren Isinghood and Emerson Isinghood; brother, Steve Morrell; and a host of other extended family members and friends.
