Ruth Marsh Waits

Ruth Waits, 95, of Springtown TX., passed away on October 3, 2023. 

Ruth was born in Troup, TX., July 31, 1928, to Lucille and David Marsh. She married Ralph Broome in 1946.

 Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 9, 2023 at White’s Funeral Home Chapel, Springtown. 

Visitation: 1 to 2 p.m., Monday, October 9, 2023 at White’s Funeral Home Chapel, Springtown.

 Interment: Monday, October 9, 2023 in Azleland Cemetery, Azle. 

Ruth lived a wonderful life. She retired from Howell Instruments in Fort Worth TX. She was a devoted wife, a wonderful mother, a loyal friend, and an extraordinary grandmother. She will be missed by everyone who was fortunate enough to have known her, her infectious smile and ability to light up a room. 

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; her son, Tommy Broome; two brothers, Charles Marsh, Gerald Marsh; two sisters, Mildred Record and Jennie Raymond. 

Survivors include her son, Jim Broome and wife Michelle Broome of Springtown, TX.; her brother, Odis Marsh; her grandchildren, Tommy Broome of Springtown, TX., Roxanne Rodebush of Tulsa, Ok., Jason Broome of Azle, TX., Rachel Spradlin of Springtown, TX. and four great grandchildren.
