Russell Carson Gunter

Russell “RC” Gunter, 88, passed away Sunday, November 18, 2018 at home. Service: 10:00 am Saturday at White’s Azle Chapel. Interment: 1:00 P.M. Saturday at Cottonwood Cemetery, Bryson. Visitation: 6 to 8pm Friday at White’s Azle Funeral Home.RC. was born in Jacksboro May 1, 1930 to Lark and Zella Weaver Gunter. He honorably served his country in the United States Navy. R.C. was employed for 23 years at Lockheed (GD) and eighteen years with Xerox. He will be missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Wanda Gunter in 2017; daughter, Sherry Kinckerbocker, daughter-in-law, Vickie Gunter; sisters, Joann Faught and Frances Clayton. Survivors: daughter, Elizabeth Gunter Mears and husband, Keith; sons. Dusty Gunter and Robert Gunter; grandchildren, Christy Sargeant, Stacy Fowles, Craig Fowles, Robin Gunter, Jennifer Gil and husband, TJ, Stephen White, Dakota Gunter and Ty Gunter; great-grandchildren, Lauren, Madison and Logan Sargeant and Talan Gil; brother, George Gunter and sister, Christine King.
