Russell Joseph Folio

Russell Joseph Folio, 93, passed away Thursday, February 22, 2018 at an assisted living facility in Fort Worth. Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 A.M Saturday, April 7, 2018 at White’s Azle Chapel. Memorials: In lieu of flowers the family suggest contributions be made to the American Macular Degeneration Foundation, PO Box 515, North Hampton, MA. 01061-0515. Russell was born to John and Catherine Cavalle Folio in Clarksburg, West Virginia on October 13, 1924. He served over 26 years in the United States Air Force as a pilot retiring in 1969 as a Lt. Colonel. Russell then worked and retired from American Airlines as a simulator instructor. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Virginia Folio Page; brother, Frank Folio; and wife of 56 years, Mary Lou Burd Folio. Survivors: Nieces, Ginny Folio, Linda Fricke and husband, Jim, Diane Board and husband, Jerry and Catherine Zidell and husband, Jeff; nephew, John Page and wife, Wanda; numerous great nieces and nephews; and special cousins, Bill Cavalle and wife, Peggy, Laura Cavalle Beck and Cynthia Cavalle; loving friend, Tae Markgraf and her children, Wade Blake and Jess Markgraf.  White's Azle Funeral Home105 Denver TrailAzle, TX 76020817-444-3211
