R.T. Walls, 89, passed away Saturday, November 11, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. Service: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Calvary Baptist Church, 708 S.E. 5th St., Mineral Wells, 76067. Interment:Woodland Park Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at White's Funeral Home, 101 N.E. 4th Ave., Mineral Wells, 76067.Memorials: In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Calvary Baptist Church Bus Fund, 708 S.E. 5th St., Mineral Wells, 76067.R.T. was born November 17, 1927 to Jesse and Bertha Walls. He was a barber for over 60 years and was the owner of Walls Barber Shop. In his spare time he loved being with his family and his horses. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. R.T. was preceded in death by his first wife, Rheba Walls; daughter, Ruby Walls; son, Richard Walls; and step-daughter, Donna Davis Boyd.Survivors: wife, Mildred; daughter-in-law, Sharon Walls; step-daughter, Marilyn (O.B.) McClure; grandchildren, Matthew (Polly) Walls, Beth (Bobby) Schofield, and Jonathan (Valentina) Walls; step-grandchildren, Jim (Angela) McClure, Steve (Vickie) Duncan; 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Joyce Baker; and numerous extended family members and friends.
