Roy Gail Rucker

Roy Gail Rucker was born on September 5, 1940 to Anniebelle Rucker and Roy Gaines Rucker in Possom Kingdom Lake Texas.

Funeral Service: 12 p.m., Friday, November 6, 2026 at White’s Funeral Home Chapel in Springtown, Texas.

Interment: Friday, November 6, 2026, at Truce Cemetery, Jacksboro, Jack County, Texas.

Roy married Velma Louise Rucker in 1959 and together they had 2 children. He joined the United States Air Force in 1959 and proudly served for 20 years and traveled all over the world. Roy joined the Free Masons and was a member of the 32nd degree. In his free time, he loved gardening, watching the PGA tour and playing golf, watching football and reading books.

Roy was a devoted husband, father, grandpa and great grandpa and will be greatly missed.

He is proceeded in death by his wife of 62 years, Velma Louise Rucker; his son, Greg; his great granddaughter, Maleia; his parents; and his sisters, Helen, Ellen, and Ivy Bea.

He is survived by his daughter, Robyn and her husband Greg; his granddaughters, Heather Kincheloe, Ashley Estep and husband, Branden, and Courtney Davis and husband, Garrett; his great grandchildren, Lucas, Jude, Anthony, Amelia, Silas, and Titus; his sister, Judy; his best friend, Andy; and many other friends and family.
