Rowena Merle Williams

Rowena Merle Williams, 87, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend passed away Thursday, January 26, 2023 in Weatherford. No service is planned at this time. Rowena was born July 5, 1935 in Springtown, daughter of Thomas and Ima Elliot. She was an intelligent, well-read, and well travelled lady. Rowena was an talented artist and musician. Most importantly, she was a loving mother, grandmother and devoted woman of God. Rowena was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 68 years, Waymon Williams; sons, Jerry, Jon, and Joseph Williams. She is survived by her grandson, Joshua Williams; great-granddaughter, Jenaya Williams; and brother, Gene Elliot; along with several extended family members and friends.
