Rose Clydell Faulk Singleton, 88, passed away Friday, April 15, 2022 in Mineral Wells.
Funeral Service: 2:00pm Saturday April 23, First Christian Church of Mineral Wells
In lieu flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Clydell’s name to the Mineral Wells Senior Center.
Clydell was born October 23, 1933 in Dallas the daughter of Clyde and Mary (Cooper) Faulk. She graduated from Baylor University in 1954 and was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority. Clydell married the love of her life, Dr. Samuel Fleming Singleton, Jr on June 30, 1955 and they would go on to spend many happy years together until Dr. Singleton’s passing in 1980.
She was a member of First Christian Church of Mineral Wells, a member of the Mineral Wells Historical Society, and a member of Study club.
Clydell is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dr. Samuel Fleming Singleton, Jr; and sisters, Lou Orr and Benkie Dickie.
She is survived by her children, Sharon Catron, of St. Joseph, MO, Sam Singleton and wife, Melody, of Mineral Wells, and Elizabeth Bland, of Granbury; grandchildren, Drew Catron, Aaron Catron, Locky Catron, Audrey Catron, Edward Catron, Samuel Singleton, Addison Singleton, Jared Singleton, Katie Hott, and Rebecca Foster; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Anne Wright, of Corpus Christi; and a host of other extended family members and friends.
Her memory will be treasured by so many.
