Rosa Ann Guill

Rosa Jowell Guill, 72, of Mineral Wells, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, after a battle with colon cancer. Graveside Service: 10 a.m. Monday, November 6, 2023 at Willow Pond Cemetery in Mineral Wells. Rosa was born April 18, 1951 in Mineral Wells, daughter of John and Mary E. (Guinn) Jowell. She married the love of her life, Garland “Bud” Guill and they spent 55 happy years together and were blessed with two daughters. Rosa embraced her God-ordained role as a housewife and mother. She loved animals, especially dogs, and supported numerous organizations and rescues, for the benefit of many species of animals. She is dearly loved and will be deeply missed. Rosa is survived by her husband of 55 years, Garland "Bud" Guill; their two daughters, Rita Carroll and husband, Tony, of Elma, Washington, and Karen Santibanez and husband, Mike, of Mineral Wells; two sisters, Donna Presley, and Jimi Jowell, both of Mineral Wells; granddaughters, Megan Hicks and husband, Dashawn, of Mineral Wells, and Brittany Newsom and husband, Tanner, also of Mineral Wells; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law.
