Ronald Kay Upton

Ronald Kay Upton, 82, loving husband, father, brother and grandfather, passed away Monday, February 19, 2018. Memorial Service: 11:00 A.M. Monday, February 26, 2018 at White’s Azle Chapel. Visitation: 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Monday before the service at the funeral home. Ronald was born June 12, 1935 in Black River, Wisconsin to Arthur and Dorothy Upton. Ronald loved traveling thru-out the United States with his wife. He enjoyed gardening and working in his yard. Ronald was employed with Borden Milk for over 20 years and then worked at Possum Kingdom Lake in maintenance. He retired after 41 years of serving in the United States Army and Air Force Reserves as a Master Sergeant. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Tammy Meyers; brothers, Gavin Upton and Allen Upton. Survivors: Wife of 35 years, Barbara Upton; son, Ronald Upton, Jr.; daughters, Sherry Upton-Wooliver and husband, Dan and Kay Prestridge; stepsons, Jeff Strother and Robert Strother; stepdaughters, Debbie McQueen, Tammy Strother and Dorothy Strother; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and loving family.White's Azle Funeral Home817-444-3211
