Robert Wayne Bartholomew

Robert Wayne Bartholomew, 71, beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend, joined our Lord Jesus Christ, Monday, December 2, 2019, in a Fort Worth Hospital.

 Funeral Service:  2 p.m. Friday, December 6, 2019 in White’s Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford. 

Visitation:  12 – 2 p.m. Friday prior to the service at White’s Funeral Home. 

Robert was born October 18, 1948 in Sabetha, Kansas, son of Leonard J. and Maribell Loraine Diehl Bartholomew.  He proudly served his country in the United States Army National Guard, retiring with the rank of Major after 22 years of service.  Robert was a recipient of the Order of St. Barbara.  He graduated from Kansas State University and obtained his Masters’ Degree from Baker University. 

 Robert was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Edward Bartholomew. 

Survivors:  Wife of 44 years, Beverly Bartholomew; sons, Anthony Bartholomew and wife, Laura, Russell Bartholomew and wife, Laci, and Brian Bartholomew and wife, Carrie; six grandchildren; brother, Bruce Bartholomew; sister, Connie Kennedy; and a host of other family and friends.
