Robby Lee Thompson

Jun 3, 1975 — Jun 22, 2026

Robby Lee Thompson, affectionately known to those who loved him as “Rob,” passed away peacefully at his home in Poolville, Texas, on June 22, 2026, at the age of 51.

Born on June 3, 1975, Rob was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Zelda Thompson. Prior to becoming disabled, Rob worked as a mechanic, a profession that reflected his hardworking nature and ability to fix just about anything that came his way.

Rob found joy in listening to music and spending time with his friends and family. He was known for his sense of humor, kindness, and generosity. He had a way of making people laugh, lending a helping hand, and making those around him feel loved. One of his favorite sayings, and a reflection of how he viewed the world, was, “Only love can save us now.”

He leaves behind his children, Josh, Robby Jr., Sarah, Hannah, Katelyn, and Matthew; his loving sister, Jolenna; and numerous beloved grandchildren who brought great joy to his life.

Rob was a very strong man who fought long and hard to remain on this earth. Through every challenge, he demonstrated courage and perseverance. Above all else, he was a devoted father, a cherished brother, and a loyal friend. His strength, humor, and love will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A memorial service celebrating Rob’s life will be held at White’s Funeral Home on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Family and friends are invited to gather afterward for a reception at The Nutrition Lodge, 503 E. Highway 199, Springtown, Texas, to share memories and celebrate the life of a man who touched so many.

Though his earthly journey has ended, the memories he created and the love he shared will live on in the hearts of his family and friends forever.
