Rickey "Rick" Jerome Sorrells

Rick Sorrells, 71, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on Tuesday, March 7,2023, at his home in Azle. A small, private memorial will be held by the immediate family. Rick was born on April 8, 1951 in Opp, Alabama, son of Nelma and James Sorrells. Rick was an avid hunter, entrepreneur, and collector. Rick started his business, Sorrells Custom Homes, in 2004. He was a mentor to his daughter-in-law, Meriem Sorrells who has run the business since his retirement. Rick is survived by his wife, Caren; two sons, Brent and Lee; and a host of other family members and friends.
