Rickey "Rick" Dode Mullings

Rick Mullings (1953 - 2021) was a lifelong artist, and his paintings gave meaning to all his days. He was a loving father and husband, an Aikido Black Belt, a doting pet owner (be it mare or dachshund), and a lover of the open road. He had a 35-year career with Thermo Plastics - Rick was a man who could hold things in his hands and make them into what they should be, whether by paintbrush or by welding torch. He was a good and kind man, and he wasn't with us long enough. He is survived by his wife, Rhonda Brownjohn; his daughter, Melinda Mullings; his step-daughter, son-in-law and grandson - Rachel, Shawn & Benjamin Bowers; his sister & brother-in-law, Roxanne & Ty Hall; his brother-in-law, Eddy Rawlinson; nephew, Ethan Rawlinson; and his dear cousin, Toni Bowers & Partner, Jason Kirkpatrick. A small Memorial Gathering to celebrate his life will be held at White's Funeral Home in Weatherford on Thursday, June 17, 2021 at 7 p.m.
