Richard "Ricky" Lee Holland

Richard Lee “Ricky” Holland, 68, passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2023 in Fort Worth. Graveside Service: 2 p.m. Saturday, June 17, 2023 at the Perkins Family Ranch Cemetery. Ricky was born February 8, 1955 in Lakeland, Florida, son of Walter W. and Treva Marie (Pendergrass) Holland. He served in the United States Navy during Vietnam. Ricky was a true Cowboy, you never saw him without his hat or boots. His fashion style and mustache resembled Sam Elliot. Ricky could light up any room. He could convince you to buy ocean front property in Arizona. He had a way with words and was always a jokester. Anyone who has met Ricky, knows he would have stopped his obituary here to ask you to pull his finger. Although he was always known as the fun Uncle, he took pride in making sure he was there anytime his family needed him. Ricky will be missed by his family and friends, as life will always be a little more dull without him here. Ricky is survived by his daughters, Jessica Azua, and Misty Cleveland; his siblings, Anelda Ann Wilson, Carolyn Wynn Crowson, Janie Sue Cole, Robert Keith Holland, and Michael Wayne Holland and wife, Charlotte; numerous nieces and nephews; and many extended family members and friends.
