Richard Melvin Chancellor

Richard was born August 24, 1966 in Fort Worth to Richard Melvin Chancellor, and Alice Dian Dorsett.

He attended Castleberry High School in Fort Worth and raised his family in Springtown. 

One of his favorite things to do was fishing, and he was very adept at mechanics and could work on automobiles or anything that needed repair. He also enjoyed traveling and he loved sports and coached a girl’s softball team for many years.

Richard is survived by his daughters, Ashley Lee and husband Justin and children,  Brooklyn and Cohen;  and Misty Guerra and husband Tyrel Jones and children, Mason and Logan Graves and their grandmother, Darla Chancellor; his mother, Alice Dian Dorsett; his sisters, Angela Jones and Margaret Monday; his brother, Wayne Chancellor; his aunts, Pat LeBlanc and husband Chris and Sue Chancellor and husband Russell; cousins, Jeremy Chancellor and wife Danielle, Jason Chancellor, Nancy Myers and husband Todd, Will Waller, John Teague and wife Pam, Charles and Casey Ragsdill;  and long time family members, Mildred Hendon and children Cherie Trujillo and Danny RunsThrough; stepchildren, Khristan and Shane Thompson; and also, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
