Richard Wayne Bookout

Wayne Bookout, 83, passed away in his grandson, Tad’s arms Tuesday, May 16, 2023. 

A celebration of life will be held at the home of Tad and Hazel Sellman, Sunday, May 21, 2023 from 3 P.M. to 6 P.M. for family and close friends.

 Wayne was born January 30, 1940 in Olney to parents, Kathleen and Ed Bookout. He served his country in the United States Air Force for 4 years. Wayne married Delores Henderson January 16, 1969. They had a daughter, Kim Bookout. Wayne had 2 brothers, Fred and Ed Bookout. 

Loving family members that preceded Wayne in death were his parents; grandson, Brent Sellman; nephew, Jeff Bookout; brother, Ed Bookout and wife, Charleen Bookout. 

Wayne is survived by wife, Delores Bookout; daughter, Kim Sellman and husband, Bill Sellman; grandson, Tad Sellman and wife, Hazel; 6 great-grandchildren, Tyler and Avery Sellman, Naudia Smith, Cash, Colt and Cadence Roberts; brother, Fred Bookout and wife, Darlene; nephew, Jim Elliott and wife, Connie; nieces, Kimberly Allen, Joy Elliott and Toni Kay Ghaemi; best friends, Charlie Musslewhite, Trubon Wheeler, Ken Tathe, Bill Smith, Ronald Powell and Tom Hayes; and four legged friend, Jaxs.
