Reginald (Reg) Saxton passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at the age of 89.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 20, 2025 at Hill Cemetery, 3700 Gilbert Pit Road in Parker County, Texas.
Memorials: Donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in his memory.
Reg was born May 15, 1936 in Coalville, Utah. He spent four years in the Air Guard, and years raising black willow mink in Coalville. Reg learned to fly at the age of sixteen making his runway with a friend, off a mountain. After leaving the mink yards he started his own Commercial General Construction Company and ended his career in the Fort Worth/Dallas area. He married Linda Saxton on July 14, 1985 and they enjoyed forty wonderful years together.
Reg was an avid skier, both snow and water. He and Linda enjoyed traveling the world, boating, and many wonderful friendships. He enjoyed life to the fullest. Reg was a Christian, and member of First Christian Church of Fort Worth.
Reg is survived by his loving wife, Linda; children, John of Honolulu, Hawaii, Sharon of Park City, Utah, Susy of Laguna Beach, California, and Jeff of Salt Lake City, Utah; numerous grandchildren; sister-in-law, Barbara Howard of Weatherford; brother, Richard Saxton of Boise, Idaho; and his devoted dog and cat.
