Rebecca Ramon Meraz

Rebecca Ramon Meraz, 65, loving wife, sister, mother, daughter and cousin passed away at her home Monday, July 26, 2021. Service: 11:00 A.M. Friday, July 30, 2021 at White’s Azle Chapel. Interment: Ash Creek Cemetery. Visitation: 10:00 A.M. until service time at White’s Azle Chapel. Born in Muleshoe, TX on September 23, 1955 to Amalio and Petra Ramon. She moved to Azle with her parents and brother, Richard after years of “the ranch life”. Rebecca graduated in 1973 from Azle High School. She was a dedicated mother and wife, only returning to work once the children were in high school. Rebecca began working for Azle ISD in the Azle High School cafeteria. Her goal was to be there as her children, nieces and nephews went through the high school, and retired after 15 years of service. Rebecca married Jose Cruz Meraz on July 3, 1996. Preceded in death by Parents, Amalio and Petra Ramon; and her husband, Jose Meraz. Rebecca is survived by her loving daughter, Jennifer; and son, Alex Meraz both of Azle; brother, Michael Ramon and wife, Kristi; and sister-in-law, Cindy Ramon all of Azle; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. She was loved dearly and will be missed by all who knew her.
