Rebecca Michelle Mason

Rebecca Michelle Mason, 32, beloved daughter of John and Jana Mason, passed into heaven on Sunday, July 30, 2023. Her celebration of life will be held at Richland Hills Baptist Church on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at 2:00 p.m., visitation will be at 1:00 p.m. Rebecca was born December 5, 1990 in Fort Worth, daughter of John and Jana (Johnson) Mason. She was the middle of triplet daughters by a few seconds, but she still had all of the middle child traits. Rebecca and her sisters graduated from L. D. Bell High School and were members of the marching band. During their junior year the band won 1st place in the Grand National Marching Band Competition. Rebecca loved music and played piano, flute, and sang in the choir throughout her junior high and high school years. For the last few years Rebecca was a caregiver for her aging grandparents but had just started a new job as a registered behavioral technician with autistic children, which she really loved and found fulfillment in. She also loved getting to know her wonderful co-workers. Rebecca truly loved her family. She was almost a 2nd Mom to her three “nephews”, Maddox, Ryland and Holden, who lovingly nicknamed her “B.J.” Rebecca loved to travel with family and friends. She loved the Korean culture, including food, movies and TV shows. She had been taking Korean language classes for years and dreamed of visiting South Korea someday. Rebecca loved to bake, crochet and read. She also loved her two cats, Indigo and Munchi, and she considered herself a cat mom. She raised Munchi from a day old and had a special bond with him. Several years ago, Rebecca made the selfless decision to be an organ donor. She leaves behind her parents, John and Jana Mason; triplet sisters, Nicole and Rachel Mason; 102 year old grandmother, Berniece Mason; maternal aunt and uncle, Christa and John Mars; paternal aunt and uncle, Janis and Scott Mason; maternal cousins, Sarah and Patrick Mars, Erin and Shaun Lasyone, and their sons, Maddox, Ryland and Holden; and many other loving relatives and friends.
