Rosa (Pauline) Martinez Castro

Rosa (Pauline) Castro, 85, passed peacefully on Monday, March 6, 2023 in Mineral Wells. Remembrance of Life: 2 p.m. Sunday, March 12, 2023 at Sheriff Posse in Mineral Wells. Graveside Service: 11 a.m. Monday, March 13, 2023 at Fairview Cemetery in Millsap. Rosa was born March 3, 1938 in Ranger, to Eusebio and Lorenza Martinez. There she met the love of her life, Frank Castro, and they married and had four children. Rosa and Frank moved to Millsap in 1971, where she became socially active in the Millsap Garden Club, Millsap Thumbs & Needles, and Ladies of Guadalupe. Rosa loved everyone she came in contact with. She also loved to dance, but most of all she loved spending time with her family. Rosa is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Castro; granddaughter, Rose Castro; and son, Frank A. Castro. She is survived by children, Eddie Castro of Mineral Wells, Frances (Adolfo) Rodriguez, of Mineral Wells, and Stella (Mark) Casey, of Millsap; two sisters, Ofelia Alarcon, and Carolina Alonzo; grandchildren, Eddie Ann (Danny) Mejia of Millsap, Liza (Frank) Villarreal, Abby (Daniel) Aguilar, of Millsap, Roxy (Matt) Stephens, of Mineral Wells, Jennifer (Kelsey) Gonzalez, of Bowie, Junior (Heather) Rodriguez, of Brock, Tyeanna (Randy) Hatfield, of Mineral Wells, Frank Casey of Millsap, Jett (Liz) Smith of Mineral Wells, Jacye (Ethan) Niemann, of Mineral Wells; 21 great-grandchildren; four great great-grandchildren; as well as Vivian Castro, and Annette Soto.
