Paul Scott Hoey

Paul "Scott" Hoey passed away Sunday, June 7, 2020. He was born on July 19, 1953 in Augusta, Georgia to parents Paul and Frances "Fran" Hoey, both deceased. Scott lived most of his years in Mineral Wells, Texas while thoroughly enjoying the community. He remained a very thoughtful, kind and caring person throughout his entire life. Scott attended the University of Texas at Arlington before graduating from The College of Pharmacy at the University of Texas (with Honors). He held retail pharmacy positions in Monahan's, Stephenville and Mineral Wells, Texas. His real interest remained in hospital pharmacy as he retired in 2017 after 25 years with Lake Granbury Medical Center in Granbury, Texas. Scott enjoyed walking, reading, sports (particularly the Chicago White Sox and Indianapolis Colts), being a considerate neighbor to many and spending time with his family. He was a member of St. Luke's Anglican Church since 1955. Scott is survived by his brother, Charles E. Hoey of Dallas; and a sister, Frances A. "Frana" Hoey of Mineral Wells. Requiem Mass is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 13, 2020 at St. Luke's Anglican Church, Mineral Wells. The family will receive guests from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Friday, June 12, 2020 at White's Funeral Home in Mineral Wells.
