Paul Edgar Hedberg

Paul Edgar Hedberg, 67, passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2025 in Weatherford, Texas.

Visitation: 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, May 2, 2025 at White’s Funeral Home, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford.

Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 5, 2025 at First Methodist Church, 301 South Main St., Weatherford.

Interment: 2:30 p.m. Monday at Greenwood Memorial Park, 3100 White Settlement Rd., Fort Worth.

Memorials can be made to the American Diabetes Association, National Kidney Foundation, or First Methodist Church of Weatherford Steeple Fund.

Paul was born on March 5, 1958 in Fort Worth, Texas to John and Arlene Hedberg. He was a member of First Methodist Church of Weatherford.

Paul worked for Mott’s 5 & 10 stores for many years as a store manager. He also worked for Dollar General as a store manager. But the job he really enjoyed was driving an 18-wheeler and seeing the country. He managed to visit 49 of the 50 states. Paul retired from driving in December 2024 due to health problems.

Paul enjoyed many interests including, Bible study, reading, square dancing, and photography.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Arlene Hedberg; sister-in-law, JoAnn Hedberg; and nephew, Matthew Hedberg.

Paul is survived by his sisters, Edith Neal and brother-in-law, Larry Neal, and Phyllis Clark and husband, Darrel; his brother, Duane Hedberg and partner, Betsy Drew; nieces and nephews, Mary Borden, Teri Herron, Bobby Clark and wife, Sara, and Phillip Clark and wife, Amy; great nieces and nephews, Zoe Herron, Ellie Clark, Ross Clark, Malcolm Clark, and Sullivan Clark.
