Patsy June Smetzer

Patsy June Smetzer, 86, beloved mother, grandmother and friend, passed away Wednesday, December 15, 2021 in Weatherford. Funeral Service: 10 a.m. Monday, December 20, 2021 in White’s Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford. Interment: Memory Gardens of the Valley, 5600 Mineral Wells Hwy., Weatherford. Visitation: 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at White’s Funeral Home. Patsy was born October 3, 1935 in Hampton, Georgia, daughter of Samuel David and Ruth Griffin Pearce Waller. She was a faithful member of Santa Fe Baptist Church. Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, S. D. and Ruth Waller; husband, Olin Kenneth Lee Smetzer; son, Kenneth Lee Smetzer, Jr.; brother, S. D. Waller, Jr.; and sister, Frances Waller. Survivors: Daughters, Patricia Yandell of Weatherford, and Sandy Bellamy of Hurst; sons, Charles Champion, and Ed Champion, of Littleton, Colorado, and Sammy Champion of Alabama; grandchildren, Stephanie Crotts, Tiffany Oas, Porsche Calhoun, Blake Smetzer, Frances, Matthew and William Yandell, Samantha, Laura and Colby Roush, David, Ken and Richard Champion, and Christopher Zeller; many great-grandchildren; and many extended family members and friends.
