Ola Mae Harrison

Ola Mae Harrison, 93, passed into Jesus’ arms, on Monday, December 19, 2022 in Mount Pleasant, TX. Ola Mae was born September 4, 1929 in De Leon, Texas to Wiley Hillard and Fadie Altum Bridges. She had nine brothers and sisters. She was a devoted member of First Baptist Church of Springtown. Mom had many jobs in life, she was a nurse, bookkeeper, church secretary, managed any and all aspects of running the Lewis Construction company, hog farmer, housewife and always “Mom”. She loved ceramics, puzzles, and crafts and loved working in the church. Later in life she loved traveling. When we were kids, she rode motorcycles, fished, camped and shot guns with us. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Lewie F. Woods and last husband, Kenneth Ray Harrison; her parents; a sister; three brothers; and one grandson, Allen Woods. She is survived by her sons, Jerry Woods and wife, Donna; Paul Woods and wife Willene; stepdaughter, Cheryl Franklin, Phyllis DeGarmo and husband Rob; three grandchildren, Keith Woods, Tiffany Bell, Shelley Carson, six great-grandchildren; numerous other relatives and friends. She was loved and will be missed and remembered by all those who knew and loved her.
