Nora Kathrine Mack

Nora Kathrine Mack, having just turned 104 years young, went to her heavenly home Tuesday, April 5, 2022, to join her loved ones who have gone on before her. Funeral Service: 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 11, 2022 at First Baptist Church of Dennis, 7600 FM 1189, Dennis. Interment: Johnson Cemetery, Dennis. Visitation: 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Sunday, April 10, 2022 at White’s Funeral Home, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford. Nora was born April 2, 1918 in Ballenger, daughter of Jessie Cunningham Kincannon and Rebecca Francis Jones Kincannon. She met and married the love of her life, Vernon Mack on March 6, 1938 in Hobbs, New Mexico and they were together for more than 65 years before his passing. They had lived in the Weatherford area since 1972. Nora worked for Texas Instruments in Quality Control in Dallas until she retired. She was a faithful member of Dennis First Baptist Church until her health prevented her from attending in person, but she continued to support her church in prayer. Nora was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Mack; son, Vernon Wesley Mack; sisters, Ruby Weburg, Ruth Carpenter, and Myrtle Hays; and brothers, J. C. Kincannon, and Buddy Kincannon. Survivors: Grandson, Kenny Wesley Mack and wife, Herminia; daughter-in-law, Marty Mack; great-grandsons, Matthew Mack and Justin Mack; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and great great-nieces and great great-nephews; and many extended family members, church family and friends.
