Nicolas Paul Ramos

Paul Ramos of Aledo, Tx., age 45, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, on Thursday, January 11th, 2024 in Fort Worth, Tx. Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 22, 2024, at White's Funeral Home Chapel, Springtown, Tx. Interment: Springtown Cemetery, Springtown, Tx. Paul was a beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend. He celebrated his 20th anniversary with Ben E. Keith Beverages on July 1st, 2023; an achievement of which he was immensely proud. Paul loved the simple things in life; quality time with family and friends, good food, and professional sports. He was a diehard Dallas Cowboys and Dallas Mavericks fan. As a former athlete himself, his loyalty to his hometown team, the Aledo Bearcats, never wavered. Once his nephews, Gavin and Preston Carroll, began playing for the Grandview Zebras, he made room for another favorite team. Paul loved his family above all else. Many days and nights were spent hanging out on the front porch with whoever was around, food on the grill, and Mickey Gilley, 2Pac, or a football game playing in the background. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cynthia and Nicolas Ramos; and aunt, Colleen Jackson. Paul is survived by his brother, Weslie Carroll; niece, Kendall Carroll; and nephews Gavin and Preston Carroll; cousins, Sarah and Melissa Wilson; cousin, Katy Jackson and husband David Carriveau; aunt and uncle, David and Barbara Wilson; aunt and uncle, Fred Jackson and wife Margaret Mayer. Paul will be missed by so many who knew and loved him, but, we take comfort in knowing he has been reunited with his beloved mom and dad.
