Nancy Jane Crandall, 83, went to join her husband David in heaven on Tuesday, May 11, 2021. Graveside Inurnment: 10:30 a.m. Thursday, October 27, 2022 at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75211. Visitation: 6 – 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at White’s Azle Funeral Chapel, 105 Denver Trail, Azle 76020. Inurnment: David and Nancy will be inurned together at a later date and the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Nancy was born February 23, 1938 in Fort Worth, daughter of Coaster and Mary Howell Bedford. She met and married the love of her life, David, on June 16, 1961 and they had many happy years together until his passing November 21, 2020. Nancy worked in sales, as a manicurist and as a child care provider. She enjoyed being a Blue Bird leader, teaching VBS, quilting, crocheting, sewing and shopping. Nancy loved traveling with her grandchildren, and her family was the joy and light of her life. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She was preceded in death by her husband, David. Survivors: Children, Mike Crandall, Cheryl Clendening and husband, Roy, Karen Beldowski and husband, Rick, and Brian Crandall; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; siblings, Betty Swindol, Jerry Bedford, Ronnie Bedford, and Gay Cline; and many extended family members and friends. ******************************************************************************************************************** David A. Crandall, 83, passed away November 21, 2020 in Weatherford. A visitation where his life will be celebrated, along with the visitation for his loving wife, who passed away May 11, 2021 will be: 6 to 8 P.M. Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at White’s Azle Chapel, 105 Denver Trail, Azle, Texas. David was born December 15, 1936 in Warsaw, New York to Alvah B. and Daisy Gage Crandall. He was raised in Gainesville, NY. David graduated from Letchworth Central School. Joined the United States Army in 1955 and served until 1958, earned Good Conduct Medal while earning computer programming. After leaving the military he moved to Texas. David met the love of his life while at Commercial Standard in 1960. He married Nancy on June 16, 1961. Worked for U. S. Postal Office from 1968 until he retired in 1992.. While working there, he was involved in Toastmasters International and mentoring school children. He was music leader at Walnut Creek Baptist Church, Lake Worth Baptist Church. He was a deacon at Elm Grove Baptist Church, along with bus ministries, too. David was in a Gospel group, the Victory Quartet. He loved singing, vacationing with his grandchildren, cheering for grandchildren at their many events, baseball, gardening, fishing. He was a loving and devoted father. David was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Neil Crandall; and sister, Joyce Crandall.
