Mozell Warren

Mozell Warren was born on September 24,1957 in Dallas, Texas. 

On Saturday, June 28, 2025, Mozell Warren answered God’s call.

Graveside Service: 11:00 A.M. Monday, July 7, 2025 at Laurel Lane Memorial Park, 6300 SRL Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75232.

She received her high school diploma from Athens High School. Mozell also attended Trinity Valley Community College.

Mozell Warren worked at Furon, United Methodist Learning Center, Episcopal Learning Center and Trinity Valley Community Center.

She loved her family both biological and those she chose to include in her circle. Once you were in, you were in. Mozell could remember more details about birthdays, anniversaries, and special occasions that most people forgot.

She also loved watching old Westerns i.e. The Rifleman, Big Valley and Gunsmoke and old comedies such as I Love Lucy and The Cosby Show.

She was preceded in death by parents, Loy and Vearneas Warren; brothers, Eddie Lee Jones and James C Faggett Jr.; sister, Doris Broussard; and maternal grandparents, Luke and Ara Warren.

She leaves to cherish her memories her daughter, Monyca LaShawn Warren of Azle, TX; her sisters, Ozell Warren of Azle, TX and Lynda Humphrey of Dallas TX ; her brothers, George Favors of Dallas, TX and Edward Warren of Kansas City, Missouri. She also leaves a host of nephews, nieces and cousins and friends who will miss her immensely. She also leaves behind the most spoiled dog, Lucky whom she loved with all her heart.
