Mildred "Polly" Pauline Jones

Mildred Pauline “Polly” Jones, 97, passed away at her home in Weatherford on Saturday, February 4, 2023. Graveside Service: 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 10, 2023 at Memory Gardens of the Valley Memorial Park, 5600 Mineral Wells Highway, Weatherford. Polly was born October 23, 1925 in Henryetta, OK, daughter of William H. and Callie (Grinstead) Davis. She married the love of her life, W. Felix Jones in 1961 and they would go on to spend 38 happy years together until his passing in 1999. Polly enjoyed playing Bridge, cooking, and loved to collect cookbooks, of which she had over 1,000 at one time. Polly is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, W. Felix Jones; and son, Greg Bradford Steen. Survivors include her daughter, Julie Anne Jones; grandchildren, Cash Steen, James Robert Mayer and wife, Samantha, and Sarah Katherine Mayer; five great-grandchildren ; two great great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family members and friends.
